Art of Anime

About this event

Anime Drawing Workshop

Explore the fundamentals of anime drawing in this hands-on workshop designed for artists of all experience levels!

Students will learn how to draw in the anime style by exploring anatomy, proportions, character design, and artistic style . The workshop will progress step-by-step, beginning with the fundamentals of drawing the anime head and face, then moving into the upper body and eventually full-body anatomy.

As students build their skills, we’ll explore how artists simplify anatomy and shapes to create different anime styles, eventually working toward chibi-style characters .

Throughout the series, additional topics may be introduced based on student interests and suggestions, including different body types, hairstyles, poses, character references, and other aspects of anime character design.

Each class will include instructor demonstrations and guided drawing practice, giving students the opportunity to follow along, ask questions, and develop their own style.

No previous anime drawing experience is required, and all ages are welcome!
