- ➤ APSU education major Rylei Johnson, a first-generation college student, won the Teen Tennessee Petite title and will represent the state at the national competition in Chicago this July. She also heads the W.O.W. Initiative in Clarksville, which recently raised $400 for the Serenity House Women’s Shelter. Clarksville Online

- ➤ The Clarksville Gas and Water Department has turned off water on Brandywine Drive from Bel Air Boulevard to Yorktown Road for a water main leak repair. The repair work will finish by 5:00 p.m. + residents may experience low water pressure until water service resumes. Clarksville Online
- ➤ Clarksville City Council will debate buying a Union Street property for a permanent shelter for those experiencing homelessness tonight & again Thursday, as Clarksville Urban Ministries plans to expand its outreach. - ➤ Nashville Predators prospect Brady Martin suffered a shoulder injury during Canada’s semifinal game against Czechia at the World Junior Championships on Jan. 4 (he left the game with his right arm in a sling) and he is set to finish the season in the OHL. The Leaf Chronicle
