- ➤ The Millan Foundation will host Service Beyond the Uniform, a free community panel on leadership and service beyond the military on Feb. 5 at The Press in downtown Clarksville. - ➤ Janet and Johnny Rudolph Jr. have created the Wade Hadley Rudolph Pre-Medicine Endowment at APSU to support juniors and seniors with at least a 3.2 GPA in science majors as they prepare for medical school. - ➤ After a layered icy storm that complicated road clearing, Clarksville crews worked around the clock to treat 700 miles of streets using 9,000 tons of salt (costing about 1 million dollars) and logged over 5,000 man hours with 65 employees and 32 trucks. - ➤ APSU Govs beat Eastern Kentucky 90-82 on Wednesday at Baptist Health Arena in Richmond — their first win there since 2017 — with grad forward Collin Parker scoring 25 points and lifting the team to a 14-6 record.
