- ➤ St. Peter’s AME Church in Clarksville launched its Grocery Grab Giveaway Community Food Pantry in December 2025 to provide free groceries for seniors and APSU students. - ➤ ArtLink named Jayla Eubanks as its new executive director, marking a new chapter for local art programs. Eubanks — a U.S. Army veteran and local artist studying Art Education at APSU — will expand gallery shows and community programs at its 98 Franklin St. location. ClarksvilleNow.com
- ➤ APSU’s Wind Ensemble will perform at the CBDNA Southern Division Conference on Thursday, Feb. 19 in Tampa — one of six college groups chosen after 27 auditions. The ensemble is led by Director of Bands John Schnettler and is known as a top wind ensemble in the Southeast. ClarksvilleNow.com

- ➤ The Clarksville Police Department hired its second wellness counselor, Katie Kastle, on Jan. 26 through a DOJ COPS grant from Oct. 2025 to boost mental health support for officers and families.
