- ➤ APSU GIS Center and Meharry Medical College are partnering on a three-year, $750K NASA grant to develop 3D printed drones that will aid emergency response and healthcare in Clarksville and surrounding areas. - ➤ Clarksville Academy’s basketball program leads in both academics and sports. All its players gain college admission and the boys team is the only county school to win a state title, finishing as District II A leader with two final four appearances. Clarksville Online
- ➤ A Rossview High teacher was suspended and moved to work from home after leaving written notes with derogatory remarks about students and sharing them on Twitch. The investigation is ongoing and a one-day suspension without pay is set for Feb.-18. ClarksvilleNow.com

- ➤ The Tennessee Department of Health reported very high flu activity for the week ending Jan. 31 in East Tennessee—where outpatient visits reached 6.9%—while areas in Middle and West Tennessee saw lower levels. - ➤ Austin Peay athletic director Jordan Harmon was introduced on Friday, Feb. 13 at the university. He said his background in fundraising and revenue management will boost the student-athlete experience as he leads the Governors’ move to the United Athletic Conference this July.
