- ➤ APSU professor Dr. Alex Adams published a review on best practices for online P.E. for K-12 amid rising virtual enrollment, noting that while creative home adaptations work, in-person instruction remains best for developing proper physical skills. Clarksville Online

- ➤ At the Bearkat Softball Complex Saturday, APSU ended a three-game losing streak with a 9-0 run-rule win over Houston Christian but later lost 3-2 to Sam Houston, with pitchers Cameron Grayson and Alanah Jones showing strong efforts (Grayson pitched a shutout and Jones allowed three runs in five innings). - ➤ JPII basketball won its Division II AA Middle Region title on Feb. 21 at CPA's Fortis Arena with a 65 to 62 win over Lipscomb Academy, led by Trey Pearson's 29 points. The Mustangs now prepare for the state quarterfinals against either McCallie or Brentwood Academy. Main Street Clarksville
- ➤ APSU women's tennis improved to a 6-2 record with a 4-3 win over Wofford Sunday at Reeves Courts. The team will play its first home match on Thursday at noon at the Governors Tennis Courts against Middle Tennessee. Clarksville Online
- ➤ The APSU lacrosse team earned its first road win Sunday when it beat Presbyterian 19-14 at Bailey Memorial Stadium. The Governors will return to Clarksville for two home games beginning Friday at Morgan Brothers Field against Canicus and Sunday against Eastern Michigan. Clarksville Online
- ➤ Clarksville High wrestler Sally Johnson captured her first individual state championship in the girls 165-pound division after defeating West Creek’s Irelynn Laurin today. The athlete, a transfer from Northwest finishing her career at 31-2, now looks ahead to college freestyle at the University of Sioux Falls. Main Street Clarksville
- ➤ Montgomery County wrestlers from Clarksville and nearby schools claimed 44 individual state titles and three team championships as 64 students qualified for the state tournament this season.
