- ➤ Clarksville Police responded Tuesday afternoon to two motorcycle crashes—one on Peachers Mill Road at South Senseney Circle where a motorcyclist was taken to Tennova Healthcare and a driver was extricated, and one at the intersection of 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Pea Ridge Road where traffic experienced congestion, leaving Peachers Mill Road shut down until it reopens. - ➤ Clarksville's Chamber of Commerce named Troy Industries, Inc. as this month’s Veteran Business of the Month after owner Stephen Troy moved his small arms components manufacturer from Massachusetts to Clarksville in 2021, investing over $7 million in a new facility. - ➤ Northeast High School hosted a VEX Robotics Regional Competition where thirty high school teams from central Tennessee showcased their technical skills. Brentwood High’s The Mad Scientists earned the Excellence Award and tournament champions were Innovation Academy’s Innovation Robotics and NEHS’s Eagle Siege while a state tournament will be held at APSU in March and world championships will take place in Dallas in May. - ➤ The Clarksville Gas and Water Department turned off water service on Sango Road—between Sheas Way and South Woodson Road—for a water main leak repair and closed the road for the work.
