- ➤ Clarksville Police are investigating a $25,000 jewelry theft at Walmart on Wilma Rudolph Blvd that occurred on March 18 and video footage shows two suspects — one in a khaki jumpsuit with a black cap and sunglasses and one in a tan shirt with distinct black sweatpants — who left the store on foot while the department seeks public assistance in identifying them. - ➤ The Tennessee State Education Board approved a plan on Thursday to launch the Education Freedom Scholarships program that offers $7,295 in vouchers for private school tuition. The state will open applications this spring on a first-come first-served basis for 20,000 scholarships, with half reserved for families earning less than 300 percent of the free lunch level.
