- ➤ Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital is accepting applications for its summer VolunTeen program for high school students (aged 14 to 18) to volunteer at the hospital. - ➤ Austin Peay State University names Dr. Lisa Sullivan as its new senior vice provost and senior associate vice president for faculty affairs. - ➤ The new VA clinic planned for Clarksville will be built along Spring Creek Parkway after officials rezoned nearly 62 acres near Wilma Rudolph Boulevard at a Tuesday meeting. - ➤ The City of Clarksville is offering free yard debris removal for tree limbs, leaves, and grass clippings until May 1; residents must follow curbside guidelines to ensure proper pickup. The Leaf Chronicle
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ On Monday, the Montgomery Central Indians played at Kirkwood High School against the Cobras and lost 7-2 (their first loss of the season) after the Cobras built an early lead with five runs in the first two innings.
