- ➤ The Clarksville Gas and Water Department turned off water on Britton Springs Road for a water main leak repair that could cause low water pressure near Britton Springs and Old Hopkinsville Roads—traffic is detoured from Jordan Road to Fort Campbell Boulevard and service is expected to resume by 5:00 p.m. today. Brett Sylvia in the Mayor vs. the General Broomball game on March 27 at the Ford Ice Center in Clarksville, with extra matchups between the Highway Department and Street Department and between Gas and Water and Fire and Rescue. During an Economic Development Council meeting he expressed worry someone might be injured, but after the game he called it a win—showing the event brought together local officials, military, first responders and utility crews while raising funds for United Way.
