- ➤ The Clarksville City Council will consider a resolution in a special session Monday, April 6 at 4:30 p.m. to authorize a 75-year lease with SOCAYR, Inc. that aims to develop 65 affordable senior housing units at the former Frosty Morn site. Main Street Clarksville
- ➤ TDOT will resurface and repair roads from Apr. 6 through Apr. 10 in Montgomery and nearby counties (including SR 12 and I-65), which may cause delays for drivers. Motorists are urged to follow reduced speed limits in work zones. Clarksville Online
- ➤ Arthur Clark has proposed rezoning for over 5 acres on southern Dover Road for an indoor archery range and hunting supply store aimed at community outreach. The plan will be reviewed by the Montgomery County Commission Monday, Apr. 6 at 6 p.m. ClarksvilleNow.com

- ➤ APSU baseball moved into a first-place tie with a 12-9 win over Eastern Kentucky on Saturday at Turkey Hughes Field in Richmond, Kentucky. The team will resume play Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. against Tennessee Tech at Bush Stadium in Cookeville. Clarksville Online
- ➤ The APSU women's tennis team beat Western Kentucky 4-1 at the Warren County Tennis and Sports Facility on Saturday. They will face Bellarmine at 2:00 p.m. Friday and Louisville at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in their final regular season matches. Clarksville Online
- ➤ Austin Peay Softball swept Bellarmine winning 11-3 by run-rule at Cathi Maynard Park on Saturday with standout plays by Sammie Shelander and a five-inning shutout by Cameron Grayson. The Govs will host Middle Tennessee in a Tuesday contest at the same park. Clarksville Online
- ➤ APSU lacrosse came from behind but fell 10-8 to Kennesaw State Saturday at Fifth Third Stadium — the team returns home to face Jacksonville on Saturday, Apr. 11 at 10:30 a.m. at Morgan Brothers Stadium in Clarksville. Clarksville Online
