- ➤ On March 15, four Clarksville Police Department officers graduated from nine weeks of training at the Walters State Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy—Officer Nathaniel Elliott earned the Defensive and Tactical Driving Award. - ➤ Metro Traffic and Planning Commissioners discussed adding a new pedestrian hybrid beacon — a flashing light above crosswalks that alerts drivers on Clarksville Pike on Monday. They sent the proposal back to NDOT to decide on the best location and will review the plan again in 30 days. WKRN
