  • On Saturday, the sixth annual Walk4Water at Liberty Park raised $25,226 from 196 walkers to fund three clean water wells. Organized by Healing Hands International — the 4-mile route around the park and Marina reflected the daily journey of those seeking safe drinking water.  ClarksvilleNow.com

  • ALDI is testing a modular store design that adapts to various sizes and local shopping patterns—this trial, which started in Florida in September 2025, is expected to expand this year and may update Tennessee’s 71 stores while keeping its low-price strategy.  The Leaf Chronicle

  • TCAT Dickson held its spring commencement in Clarksville at Awaken Church on April 20, where President Laura Travis presented 50 diplomas and certificates to graduates including veterans and first generation students from 11 technical programs.  Main Street Clarksville

  • Clarksville High boys basketball coach Ted Young is retiring after 27 seasons, making him the county's longest-tenured coach with 400+ wins. He spent 55 years in basketball, and a new coach will lead the Wildcats next season as his career and legacy are honored.  Main Street Clarksville
  • APSU Softball lost 5-2 to Lipscomb Sunday at Draper Diamond at Smith Stadium (junior Katie Raper tied the record for third-most home runs in a season with her 15th). The team will host Eastern Kentucky May 1-2 at Cathi Maynard Park in Clarksville.  Clarksville Online
  • APSU Softball clinched an ASUN Softball Championship berth with a doubleheader sweep against Lipscomb at Draper Diamond on Saturday as the Governors ended a five-game losing streak.  Clarksville Online
