- ➤ Spc. Ryan J. Faubel, a 24-year-old soldier at Fort Campbell, pleaded guilty to negligent homicide after selling fentanyl-laced Percocet pills that killed Pfc. Ivan F. Rios-Segui on April 28 and was sentenced to one year in prison & a bad conduct discharge from the Army. Main Street Clarksville
- ➤ Austin Peay football player William Hardrick was killed by an alleged drunk driver on I-65 near Huntsville on Tuesday night, with Hardrick wearing a seatbelt as his car flipped several times+the crash closed nearly 30 miles of highway and the driver now faces a murder charge. WSMV 4

- ➤ APSU junior Patton Samuels, a Clarksville native, was named ASUN Conference Golfer of the Year and earned First Team All-ASUN honors in his first season, becoming the first Gov to win this award since APSU joined the conference in 2022. He qualified for the NCAA Men’s Golf Championship and will compete at the Urbana Regional May 12th to May 14th + teammate sophomore Seth Smith earned Third Team All-ASUN honors and secured consecutive tournament wins.
