- ➤ The Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands are hosting a free expungement clinic to help Clarksville residents remove eligible charges and restore rights. The event will be held at Loves and Fishes (825 Crossland Avenue) on July 11 from 8 a.m. to noon. WSMV 4

- ➤ Dr. Michael Torrance, president of Motlow State Community College, detailed plans to expand aviation simulation centers and launch a Whiskey Science program in partnership with the Tennessee Distillers Guild. He said the college will integrate AI into its TILT model to support dual-enrollment and robotics training across 11 counties. WGNS
- ➤ Nearly 3,300 third grade students were transported on 78 CMCSS buses to F&M Bank Arena on Thursday, May 7 for the Kiwanis Club of Clarksville's Reading Rodeo, where New York Times bestselling author Chris Grabenstein read "No Is All I Know" to boost literacy as part of a 45-year tradition. - ➤ APSU College of Business was recognized as one of 15 top-performing schools in the TVA Investment Challenge Program after April presentations in Nashville, where its student team achieved a 20.53% return compared to the S&P 500's 17.88% in fiscal year 2025. Clarksville Online
- ➤ More than 2,500 seniors in Clarksville-Montgomery County will graduate starting May 20 at Austin Peay State University’s Dunn Center; each ceremony will enforce a clear bag policy & use a weapons detection system.
