The Clarksville High Wildcats finished as region runner-up in the 7-4A tournament after losing the championship game to Dickson County and winning over Henry County on Friday and Saturday.

They will travel to Houston for a three-game sectional series to vie for a state tournament spot, while Rossview ended its season with a walk-off loss — finalizing its run.

Tennessee rowing won its first SEC championship by beating Texas 79-75 on May 10 at Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, and coach Kim Cupini praised the team's effort as they now set their sights on the NCAA Championships at Lake Lanier Olympic Park from May 29-31.
