  • Cheesy J’s opened on March 12 near Walmart in Sango and quickly gained attention for its creative twists on grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup — the menu also features items like The Mac and The Cheesy J with sides such as sweet potato fries, homemade soup, and desserts.   • Senior mathematics major Christine Jator became the first student to earn both the William McClure Drane Award and the Halbert Harvill Civitan Citizenship Award at Austin Peay’s Student Life and Leadership Awards Ceremony, marking a historic academic achievement.   • On May 8th, soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division launched a large air assault from Fort Campbell and landed at Fort Johnson, Louisiana, demonstrating combat readiness.
