- ➤ The new exhibit 'King Iron' at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library brings to light the brutal history of enslaved workers in Tennessee’s iron industry—displayed with artifacts, text panels and a diorama—and will run in the library’s Genealogy Room through mid-June. - ➤ APSU's Criminal Justice Department will integrate 30 Meta Quest 3 VR headsets into its Fall curriculum so students can experience courtroom and crime scene simulations from campus. - ➤ At the Parks and Recreation meeting, officials said new benches made from repurposed windmill blades will be installed at Valleybrook Park once APSU students finish painting them. They added that the Red River pedestrian bridge construction will start on July 7 and is expected to be finished in March 2026 to connect the Clarksville Greenway with the Riverwalk at McGregor Park.
