  • APSU’s Board of Trustees approved the naming of the Jack and Margie Turner Family Event Center—located at 416 College Street—and parts of the under-construction Health Professions Building on April 11th to honor contributions from donors including alumni and community leaders who have supported the school’s healthcare programs.  Clarksville Online

SPORTS NEWS

  • Friendship Christian School senior Braden Gillespie is competing in the 2025 Schooldays Tournament at McCabe Golf Course where he aims to become the first repeat winner since 2013. The event runs June 4-6 — with stroke play first and match play later — and Gillespie, who improved his drives and overall game with new coaching, faces high expectations from the tournament's historic past.  The Leaf Chronicle
  • Brian Rush led Clarksville High girls’ basketball for 20 years, winning over 400 games before he stepped down to coach the Wildcats softball team.
