- ➤ Clarksville Parks and Recreation will replace the playground at Ewing Burchett Park when demolition begins June 11 and new equipment arrives June 16. - ➤ On June 5, the Clarksville Writers Conference celebrated its 20th year with three days of workshops and sessions held at the Austin Peay State University Art and Design Building and the F and M Bank Franklin Room.
