- ➤ In a Clarksville daycare, a four-year-old student saved her teacher’s life when she noticed her collapse and seizure—she quickly ran to get help before paramedics arrived. The teacher was taken to a hospital, discharged, and is now recovering at home. WSMV 4
- ➤ Clarksville Parks and Recreation will replace the old playground at Ewing Burchett Park with a new accessible play area for children of all abilities; demolition will begin on June 11 and new equipment will arrive on June 16. - ➤ A tractor-trailer left Interstate 24 and went down an embankment to Dixie Bee Road, and one person was flown to a nearby hospital while another is being extricated with no major injuries — Dixie Bee Road was closed and crews worked to clear the crash scene — as authorities investigated. WSMV 4
- ➤ Sergeant Aaron Cox from Fort Campbell died in a training vehicle accident near Camp Croft in Hungary while preparing for Exercise Saber Guardian 25—officials said the cause of the accident is under investigation. WSMV 4
