  • Tuesday afternoon a bicyclist crashed with a truck on MLK Jr. Parkway in Clarksville—northbound lanes stayed closed until the road reopened at 5:05 p.m. while the injured bicyclist was flown to a Nashville hospital with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.  ClarksvilleNow.com

  • The Clarksville Police investigated vehicle burglaries at Stonehenge and Sinclair Ridge Apartments on Monday, June 9 when several vehicles were broken into and items, including a firearm, were stolen + surveillance footage showed suspects arriving in a gray Kia and a dark SUV.  Main Street Clarksville

  • A report using Bureau of Labor Statistics and ResumeGenius data has ranked Clarksville’s highest-paying jobs for those with a graduate degree, noting salaries from $38,680 for marriage and family therapists to at least $239,200 for physicians — jobs that also tend to have lower unemployment rates than roles for undergraduates.  ClarksvilleNow.com

  • APSU Board of Trustees announced winners of its annual awards as the APSU Philanthropist of the Year went to Spencer Coleman's Coleman Tractor Company—known for its long support of agricultural education—while retired Master Sgt.   • Three healthcare providers in Clarksville announced plans to grow local hospital services; Ascension Saint Thomas will build a new 44 bed hospital at Highway 76 and Interstate 24, Tri-Star Health plans to construct a community hospital on Tiny Town Road, and Tennova Healthcare said on June 4 that it will build a 12 bed facility on a 10 acre site next to its current ER – Sango.  Main Street Clarksville
