Deputy Bubba Johnson 5K — Cornhole Tournament will take place on August 9 at Rossview High School at 1237 Rossview Rd and will feature a Cornhole Tournament starting at 4:00 p.m., a 1 Mile Fun Run at 7:30 p.m. and a 5K race around 8:00 p.m.; teams must register online by midnight on August 6 and fees apply — proceeds benefit families of fallen law enforcement officers.

United Way of Greater Nashville will gather corporate partners and community volunteers on Tuesday, July 15 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville to fill 15,000 backpacks with school supplies for students across nine counties — a response to rising supply costs that burden families.
