- ➤ 7 Brew, a drive-thru coffee chain known for its bright blue lights and pop music, will open new stands in 16 states including Tennessee by Aug. 1—further expanding its network to over 400 locations nationwide since its start in Rogers, Arkansas in 2017—to offer more options for local coffee drivers. - ➤ Black Clarksville and founder Tiffany Perkins will celebrate the fifth year of the Juneteenth Block Party at Dixon Park on June 21 (from noon to 6 p.m.); the event will feature a Miss Clarksville Juneteenth pageant, spades and basketball tournaments, a blood drive and 52 vendors celebrating African American culture. - ➤ Joan Dewald and her sister Jennette Volpe created the Volpe/Dewald Agriculture Fund of Excellence Endowment to support the APSU agriculture department (honoring Jennette and her late husband Angelo Volpe) by providing new resources for student scholarships and training. - ➤ The Clarksville Gas and Water Department is performing water main maintenance on Tylertown Road, causing low water pressure in the Tylertown Road and Rosecommon Way area—water service may also be turned off during the work. The maintenance is expected to finish by 10:00 a.m., after which water pressure will be restored. Clarksville Online
- ➤ Clarksville Gas and Water has closed about 200 feet of the southbound lane on Peachers Mill Road—from East Pine Mountain Road to Marys Oak Drive—for natural gas valve maintenance. Workers have moved southbound traffic to the center lane and will reopen the road by 1:00 p.m. today. Clarksville Online

- ➤ At Tuesday's healthcare forum, leaders from Tennova, TriStar, and Ascension Saint Thomas pitched plans to build new hospitals that aim to meet Clarksville's growing needs. Business and community leaders listened as representatives outlined challenges with staffing and patient transfers, and a public hearing is scheduled for July 23 at 9 a.m.—at the state legislative building for further discussion.
