  • TriStar Health, part of HCA Healthcare, will host a free Community Information Meeting on June 27 at Mosaic Church to share details about its planned Clarksville hospital—residents can ask about services, the timeline, and the project’s community impact.   • Friends of Nelson Cemetery celebrated 200 years at the Gandy Church of Christ — honoring nine veterans with rifle volleys, a brass bell, and a bugle playing Taps while 61 attendees shared memories before the rain set in.   • Governor’s Golden Ale, an APSU-branded beer developed by Michael Waltrip Brewing Co. and Shelby’s Trio, is now on sale at nearly 40 locations statewide—Fans who enjoy a light drink now have cans available in addition to its tap offering at Shelby’s Trio.   • Q&B Foods, the U.S. division of Kewpie, opened a 160,000-square-foot plant at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Corporate Business Park on May 22 with 85 jobs and three operating production lines. The new facility produces Japanese mayonnaise, salad dressings, and sauces — it will serve more than half of the U.S. market while planning to expand its capacity.  ClarksvilleNow.com

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • A Disaster Recovery Center will open on Friday to help residents who suffered damage from severe weather and flooding in April. The center is located at the Montgomery County Public Library (350 Pageant Lane, Suite 501, 2nd floor) and will be open during regular library hours.  Main Street Clarksville
  • Today at 6:00 p.m., the Clarksville Gas and Water Department will shut off water on Paradise Hill Road from Richardson Street to Pageant Lane for water main repairs—drivers should use detour routes via Richardson Street, Greenfield Drive and Pageant Lane until about 2:00 a.m. Friday when work finishes and water returns.  Clarksville Online
  • A FEMA Disaster Recovery Center will open Friday, June 27 to help Clarksville and Montgomery County residents who suffered damage from severe weather and flooding from April 2–24 at the Public Library—350 Pageant Lane, Suite 501—and will operate during library hours. Residents can apply for Individual Assistance of up to $43,600 online, by phone, or in person.  ClarksvilleNow.com
