- ➤ The Tennessee Highway Safety Office, with help from the Tennessee Highway Patrol and local law enforcement, is running the Safe on Seventy campaign for Independence Day weekend to cut risky driving and lower crash rates. - ➤ On June 20, two Clarksville Police officers graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy—officer Jonathon Heath earned the Tactical Driving Award. - ➤ City officials broke ground on the Red River Pedestrian Bridge on July 1 near Kraft Street; the $5.8 million project will link the Red River East and (APSU) trails to the Pollard Road Trail for 11 miles of greenway while two Greenway sections remain closed until its planned completion in March 2026.
