- ➤ The Clarksville Gas and Water Department has moved the Public Square water outage and road closure to begin today at 10:00 p.m. for a key water valve replacement—City Hall, F&M Bank and nearby areas will lose water until it is restored by 6:00 a.m. Sunday while the north side of Public Square stays closed for a detour from 6:00 p.m. today. - ➤ TriStar Health plans a new hospital on Tiny Town Road—former state Rep. Curtis Johnson and former Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett discussed Clarksville’s growth and changes to the state’s Certificate of Need law. - ➤ This summer, APSU School of Nursing doubled its camp to two sessions where 60 high school students received hands-on experience in wound care, CPR, tracheotomy procedures and hospital rotations at Tennova Healthcare—funded by the Clarksville-Montgomery County Community Health Foundation.
