Loaves & Fishes of Clarksville will host the seventh annual John Waddle Memorial Clay Target Shooting Tournament on Aug.

2 at Cross Creek Clays in Palmyra to honor the late community advocate John Waddle. The event will offer breakfast, a catered lunch and prizes for top teams and shooters while proceeds support a daily meal program.

A new 200-acre industrial park with 14 buildings and 2.1 million square feet of space is under construction on Gurthrie Highway in Clarksville.

APSU men’s and women’s tennis teams earned ITA All-Academic Team Honors while nine women and nine men were named ITA Scholar-Athletes for maintaining high GPAs in both fall and spring — extending their record of academic achievement.

The teams posted averages of 3.85 and above for the women and around 3.76 for the men, marking consecutive honors in a strong academic season.
