  • A Clarksville man pleaded guilty to charges related to child sexual abuse material during Operation Grayskull—he was sentenced to 23 years and four months in prison on August 15, 2023 and ordered to pay $7,500 in restitution.  WKRN

  • Tennova Healthcare Clarksville’s Wound Care Center was given the Center of Distinction and the Clinical Excellence Award for its strong care in helping wounds heal.   • On July 23rd, 2025, the Tennessee Health Facilities Commission approved the healthcare certificates of need for Ascension Saint Thomas and HCA/Tri-Star Health to build new hospitals in Clarksville. Mayor Joe Pitts said he was honored by the crowd's support at the public hearing in Nashville — a sign that the community is united to boost local healthcare — and stressed that the new projects will help meet growing demand.  Clarksville Online
  • The Tennessee Health Commission approved two hospital proposals for Clarksville yesterday—Ascension Saint Thomas plans a 44-bed hospital at the Boyd Pumpkin Patch site, and HCA/Tri-Star Health intends to build a 68-bed facility that can expand to 224 beds—officials said.  Main Street Clarksville

  • Visit Clarksville is partnering with CDE Lightband to host the F2CON gaming tournament at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center from September 5th to 7th.
