- ➤ The APSU Professional and Workforce Development Center will relaunch its American Sign Language course on September 3 with new instructor Christina Walkenhorst—who brings over twenty years of experience—at Austin Peay, with classes meeting Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and a fee of $149 open to all community members. - ➤ A nonprofit group, Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition, filed a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security on Aug. 14—seeking full records of traffic stops that led to hundreds of arrests earlier this year.
