- ➤ Hands On powered by United Way of Greater Nashville has announced three volunteer opportunities in Clarksville — the Centerstone Life;Story 5k/10k Run/Walk for veteran and military suicide prevention on September 13 from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., the Women of Clarksville 5th Annual Women’s Expo on September 20 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., and Alexis Goines 7th Annual Safety Fair & Trunk-Or-Treat on October 18 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Volunteers will receive event shirts, meal vouchers and snacks while helping with set-up, directing guests and cleanup at each event.
