Austin Peay State University volunteers set a new record by contributing 3,221 service hours with 1,780 helpers during the university’s third annual Peayple in the Community – Day of Service, as they assisted 40 nonprofits and 15 local schools with tasks from packaging meals to environmental cleanups.

A fall fun guide details events in Clarksville from Sept.

Austin Peay State University celebrated its first PsyD graduates who completed Tennessee’s only accredited counseling psychology program designed to improve access to mental health care in Clarksville.

Dr. Nicole Knickmeyer and Dr. Valerie Leake led the multi-year program development—ensuring students gain hands-on clinical training through client services and supervision.

Austin Peay State University beat Middle Tennessee 34-14 on August 30 at Johnny Floyd Stadium—APSU jumped out to a 14-0 lead and kept Middle Tennessee to 100 yards in the first half.

The team will play Georgia on Sept. 6 at Sanford Stadium.
