- ➤ Manna Cafe Ministries is the only Tennessee nonprofit among 56 finalists for the Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Award and is asking locals to vote via the Chick-fil-A app to support its work in Montgomery and Stewart counties. Voting runs from Sept. 2 to Sept. 30 — if the nonprofit wins, it will receive funding from $30,000 to $350,000 to continue its food and service programs. Main Street Clarksville
- ➤ Clarksville is celebrating America’s 250th Birthday with a series of free events called The Road to 250 that will feature dramatic presentations on the Mabry Stage starting tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. and upcoming patriotic concerts by the Cumberland Winds as well as civic essays on local support.
