  • ➤ The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library will open its new North Branch at 435 Jordan Road on Saturday, September 13th. The celebration will run from 10:00 a.m. — 2:00 p.m. and will feature story times, tours, music, games, food trucks, and a special library card honoring 131 years of service.  Clarksville Online

  • ➤ Sprouts Farmers Market plans to open its new organic grocery store in Clarksville and has filed site plans for a 23,299-square-foot building — visible from Interstate 24 near Exit 11 on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard that will feature 60% organic products and an extra 13,600 square feet of retail space. The store’s construction timeline and opening date will be announced after the site plan approval process.  ClarksvilleNow.com

  • ➤ The Clarksville Police Department is asking the public's help to find the 15 year old boy Andre Stubblefield who was last seen on August 29 at 3:10 p.m. near Lynes Street after getting off his school bus and his family fears he may head toward Nashville.  ClarksvilleNow.com

  • ➤ The Clarksville Women’s Club will hold its third annual Hats & Heels Style Show & Fundraiser on Saturday, October 25th at the Clarksville Country Club where doors open at 10:30 a.m. and a fashion show will take place at Governor’s Square Mall—tickets cost $40 and guests may donate gently used business clothes to Bella’s Closet.  Clarksville Online

  • ➤ The Clarksville Gas and Water Department has turned off water service on Sango Road from Bagwell Road to Veridian Drive for water main leak repair and warns residents of possible low water pressure; service should be restored by about 3:00 p.m. today.  Clarksville Online
  • ➤ Clarksville Gas and Water Department is repairing a water main on Gill Street—water service may be interrupted until repairs finish by 5:00 p.m. today.  Clarksville Online
  • ➤ Today, the Clarksville Gas and Water Department will conduct water main maintenance on North First Street from Jefferson Street to Beaumont Street and on Beaumont Street at 5:00 p.m.—low water pressure is expected until water service is restored by about 7:00 p.m.  Clarksville Online
