- ➤ The Montgomery County Commission is now accepting applications to fill the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System Board of Education seat for District 3—vacated when Herbert Nelson resigned for health reasons in August—as candidates must submit required documents by noon on Oct. 29 and will speak at a Commission meeting on Nov. 10. - ➤ Austin Peay State University received a National Science Foundation planning grant to create clear study paths for engineering physics and engineering technology students from day one.
