- ➤ The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will roll into RichEllen Park on Friday, October 10th from 5:00pm to 10:00pm—kicking off the free Montgomery County BBQ Fest Across the River—which will continue on Saturday, October 11th from 10:00am to 3:00pm with live music, food trucks and contests. Families and local pitmasters will enjoy activities and vote for their favorite BBQ while supporting youth and community programs. Clarksville Online

- ➤ On Friday, thousands of fans filled F&M Bank Arena for Austin Peay State University’s second Peayple’s Concert, headlined by rap stars Waka Flocka Flame and Boosie Badazz—accompanied by a DJ set from the APSU Battle @ Browning winner. - ➤ The Gateway Chamber Orchestra announced its upcoming 2025-26 concert season led by new music director Jacob Aaron Schnitzer. - ➤ Clarksville Academy survived a late comeback by Montgomery Central in their Friday football game—renewing the 'Battle by the River' rivalry that ended in 2016. Main Street Clarksville
- ➤ On Sept. 27, Austin Peay won 42-10 over Utah Tech as quarterback Chris Parson threw for 204 yards, with three passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown—earning praise as a game-changer. - ➤ On Saturday, the Tennessee Vols beat Mississippi State 41 to 34 in overtime at Davis Wade Stadium—running back DeSean Bishop scored a 25-yard touchdown as the defense held Mississippi State short. Clarksville Online
- ➤ On Friday, the Kenwood Knights played at Northwest High School for the Vikings’ homecoming game and won 31—0 with quarterback Christian James scoring four touchdowns and running back Brian Howard Jr. adding another score.
