  • The Customs House Museum & Cultural Center announced that Demetrius Hnarakis (an experienced filmmaker) and D.C. Thomas (a design-savvy Communication Media student) joined its marketing department to boost innovative outreach and regional cultural programming. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Montgomery County Veterans Service Director Hector Santos was honored by the Tennessee Department of Veterans Services with the CSO Impact Award for Region 2 and the CSO Advocate of the Year Award for 2025 - honors that recognize his work supporting over 34,000 veterans. He leads a team of nine county service officers and works on programs like the USO Pathfinder and the DoD Transition Assistance Program.  ClarksvilleNow.com
  • After a nine-month deployment in the Middle East supporting missions in Kuwait, Egypt and U.S. Central Command, soldiers of the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade will return to Fort Campbell in the coming weeks & reunite with families. During their time abroad, the unit logged 17,580 rotary wing flight hours and flew 566 Gray Eagle sorties to complete 198 missions.  Clarksville Online

  • On Friday, the APSU women’s tennis team earned two singles wins and one doubles win during the Georgia Southern Fall Shootout in Statesboro. The team achieved key victories as Sophia Baranov and Luca Bohlen won their matches in two sets while Alice Bolton and Amelie Rosadoro secured a tie-breaker win before facing defeats in other matches.  Clarksville Online
  • On Thursday, the APSU Govs played Central Arkansas in a 1-1 draw that gave the team its second conference point. Today the team faces North Alabama at 1:00 p.m. at Morgan Brothers Field in Clarksville — the match will be their seventh meeting.  Clarksville Online
  • APSU lost 34 to 20 to Eastern Kentucky on Saturday at Roy Kidd Stadium after a strong performance by quarterback Chris Parson, who gained 359 yards on offense. The team (now 4-3) will host North Alabama on October 25th at 3:00 p.m. at Fortera Stadium.  Clarksville Online
  • Mixed martial arts fans saw LFA 219 at F&M Bank Arena on Friday as fighters Isaac Thomson and Akbarjon Islomboev headlined the first Legacy Fighting Alliance show in Clarksville. Local fighters also earned wins—Martin Camilo, Dedrek Sanders, Andrew Stewart, and Matt Adams each secured a victory by knockout or decision.  ClarksvilleNow.com
  • On Friday night, the Clarksville Christian Centurions swept the South Haven Lady Patriots 3-0 in the TSIAA North District 2 semifinals to move into the championship game against Academy of G.O.D.
