- ➤ The Kiwanis Club of Clarksville hosted the Bee-lieve in Literacy: Adult Spelling Showdown at Customs House Museum’s Turner Auditorium, drawing hundreds to support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program in Montgomery County—raising more than $40,000 through team competition from local sponsors including Spring Creek Pediatric Dentistry. - ➤ Austin Peay State University teamed with Replant Clarksville to host the Fall Native Tree Sale to restore the local tree canopy—residents can order 1-gallon and 3-gallon native trees until November 3. Coach Glen Fox said the team’s strong chemistry has led to 32 straight set wins—setting up a clash with Houston in their seventh meeting in eight seasons as they chase a state tournament spot.
