- ➤ The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County will host its third annual Multi-Rescue Trunk or Treat for Pets and People on Oct. 26 (2 to 4 p.m.) in its parking lot (940 Tennessee Ave. behind Arby’s on Riverside Drive); admission is free. Monetary donations, pet food, and litter contributions are encouraged and will support 11 local rescue groups with the Society matching up to $1,000 in Spay It Forward funds collected before the event. - ➤ JJ Gibson, an APSU alum, debuted his original musical A Brief History of Manmade Spacefaring Objects—Mostly at APSU’s New Musicals Project from October 2nd–5th, and the one-act show used space travel themes to explore humanity’s sacrifices and political views.
