His participation marks a celebration that raises awareness about spina bifida and hydrocephalus.

On Saturday, the APSU football team defeated North Alabama 56-28 at Fortera Stadium in their homecoming game.

Chris Parson led with 364 yards of total offense and six touchdowns—Shemar Kirk caught three touchdown passes while Montreze Smith Jr. recorded 12 tackles and two interceptions.

The APSU soccer team ended its 2025 season with a scoreless draw at Bellarmine at Owsley B.

Frazier Stadium in Louisville—Bellarmine outshot APSU 23 to 6 while junior keeper Lauryn Berry made nine saves during the match.

APSU women’s tennis completed competing in the ITA Women’s Conference Invitational Championship in Jacksonville on Saturday.

The team saw Sophia Baranov lose her singles match to Eastern Kentucky’s Mariia Fedenko — while Luca Bohlen and the doubles pair of Baranov and Katie Oliver withdrew due to injury.

Tennessee beat Kentucky (56-34) in the border battle as the team made big plays, with three receivers each gaining over 100 yards and a key defensive touchdown by Edrees Farooq.

The Vols will host Oklahoma (7:30 p.m. at Neyland Stadium) as their playoff hopes remain alive.
