- ➤ OneGenAway — a nonprofit that redistributes surplus food — will bring its mobile pantry to Fort Campbell on November 1 to provide free shopping carts full of groceries to military families. The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. — with entry through Gate 4 at 32 Screaming Eagle Blvd — and is open to all military families at the base. WSMV 4

- ➤ DiscReplay will hold its grand opening on Thursday, October 30th at 10:00 a.m. at Hampton Plaza along Wilma Rudolph Boulevard—first 25 customers will receive mystery Replay Cash worth up to $50 while the store sells video games, movies and collectibles and will host daily giveaways through November 2nd. - ➤ The estate of Richard G. Fraser has created a new tennis scholarship for student-athletes in the APSU men’s and women’s tennis teams. The award, set up by the 1971 graduate’s gift, will help tennis players further their education. Main Street Clarksville
- ➤ Austin Peay State University received a gift from John Chapman to establish the Brunson-Chapman Family Memorial Scholarship Endowment to support elementary education students—eligible applicants must be full-time in the Eriksson College of Education, maintain a 2.75 GPA with financial need, and preference goes to Montgomery Central High School graduates from Montgomery County. - ➤ The City of Clarksville’s Neighborhood and Community Services Department is offering the Home Repair Program to help eligible homeowners make essential repairs like roof, electrical, plumbing, heating, structural, window and door, and accessibility upgrades. - ➤ The 2025 Clarksville Montgomery County Veterans Day Parade will take place on Nov. 8 with pre-parade ceremonies starting at 9 a.m. outside the Historic Courthouse on Third Street and the parade beginning at 10 a.m. from the corner of N. - ➤ The CEO of Second Harvest Food Bank warned that if the shutdown lasts through Saturday, 246,000 residents in Middle and West Tennessee who depend on SNAP will face hunger. - ➤ APSU quarterback Chris Parson was named the UAC Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season after he led the Governors to a 56-28 win over North Alabama by throwing 17 passes for 311 yards and three touchdowns while also running for three scores. Linebacker Montreze Smith Jr. earned UAC Freshman of the Week with a career-high 12 tackles and two interceptions in the win and the Governors will face Southern Utah on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Eccles Coliseum in Cedar City. - ➤ Titans have updated their roster — trading cornerback Jarvis Brownlee to the Jets and cornerback Roger McCreary to the Rams — with Cam Ward starting at quarterback and Brandon Allen as backup ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline.
