- ➤ On November 7th—Legends Bank hosted its 6th Annual Game Changer Charity Clay Shoot at Cross Creek Clays and raised $25,500 to benefit Progressive Directions, a group helping over 1,000 locals daily. - ➤ A Clarksville nonprofit saw food assistance demand nearly triple as families face financial struggles and now distributes up to 15,000 pounds of food every week—supplies dwindle by week’s end as Thanksgiving nears. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ TDOT suspended all lane closures on interstates and highways today at noon to ease heavy Thanksgiving travel as 1.8 million motorists are expected to hit the roads; the suspension will end at 6:00 a.m. on December 1—drivers must still obey posted speeds in work zones to avoid fines.
