- ➤ On Friday, the Oak Grove Community Center hosted Operation Homefront’s Holiday Meals for Military event, where about 275 military families received gifts, meals, and $75 Walmart gift cards + more than 800 children were served. - ➤ The Customs House Museum & Cultural Center released the third edition of Historic Clarksville on Thursday during Noel Night; the updated book, authored by longtime journalist Jimmy Settle with help from local researchers, is available at the Museum Store and regional libraries to support museum programs. - ➤ APSU received a $100K NCAA Accelerating Academic Success Program grant to add 63 new laptops to its loaner pool for student-athletes in Clarksville — the devices will be available by January 2026. Clarksville Online
- ➤ Austin Peay State University's AI Symposium hosted 16 sessions where students and faculty shared ideas on using AI in research and learning. The campus event featured AR glasses designed to help people with autism — sparking plans for future virtual discussions. Clarksville Online

- ➤ APSU football coach Jeff Faris and his staff signed 16 high school recruits during Wednesday's early signing period for the December 2026 class. Three-star quarterback Kelvin Perkins is one of the in-state signees who will join the team next season. Clarksville Online
- ➤ Clarksville is set to host nearly 100 senior football players from over 60 high schools for the Tennessee East-West All-Star Classic on Dec. 13 at Fortera Stadium — players will arrive on Dec. 10 to begin daily practice as local businesses expect a boost from visitor spending.
