Austin Peay State University recently received an estate gift from the Rugraff Family Trust to establish a music scholarship endowment.

The gift honors Mary Lee Rugraff's lifelong passion for music and will provide resources to support talented students.

Austin Peay State University (APSU) received a $1.025 million grant from the Tennessee Department of Education to support its Grow Your Own residency program, a no-cost pathway into teaching that covers tuition, books and fees until July 30.

The program partners with local districts including Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools.
