- ➤ The Customs House Museum & Cultural Center in downtown is set to host a series of art exhibitions and educational programs starting in January 2026, featuring local art, historical displays, and hands-on sessions for families and homeschoolers. - ➤ Austin Peay State University recently received an estate gift from the Rugraff Family Trust to establish a music scholarship endowment. The gift honors Mary Lee Rugraff's lifelong passion for music and will provide resources to support talented students. Main Street Clarksville
- ➤ Austin Peay State University (APSU) received a $1.025 million grant from the Tennessee Department of Education to support its Grow Your Own residency program, a no-cost pathway into teaching that covers tuition, books and fees until July 30. - ➤ On Dec. 15, Mayor Joe Pitts and city employees used wheelchairs for four hours to face accessibility challenges at various city spots and shared insights at One Public Square.
