- ➤ On May 14, the Clarksville Civitan Club met at Hilldale United Methodist Church on Madison Street to honor community heroes, including retired Judge Wayne Shelton—who served for 50 years and received the Golden Circle Award. Mayor Wes Golden and club President Toni Jenkins led the award ceremonies that recognized local volunteers and groups like the Knights of Columbus and Team Red, White & Blue for their work in helping children, special needs individuals, and veterans.
