EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Tennessee Department of Education released the TVAAS scores for 2024-25 this week and CMCSS earned a composite student growth score of 5 for the second year in a row—marking the first time in nearly a decade the district achieved the highest score consecutively while also raising literacy and numeracy growth scores. - ➤ At today's CMCSS School Board meeting, awards were given to students, faculty, and staff for notable achievements including Mrs. Gaines earning third place at a national school transportation competition in Austin and Jillian Smart scoring a perfect ACT.
